꽃은 오랫동안 인간의 감정과 문화적 상징을 전달하는 중요한 매개체로 사용되어 왔다. 특히 꽃말은 꽃에 부여된 상징적 의미를 통해 감정적 메시지를 전달하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 꽃말 스토리텔링은 이러한 꽃의 의미를 이야기 형식으로 풀어내어, 수신자에게 감동적이고 정서적인 반응을 이끌어내며 특정한 메시지를 효과적으로 전달하는 방식이다. 본 연구는 꽃말 스토리텔링의 의미적 용도가 정서적 반응 및 사용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 연구의 목적은 절화 꽃말의 의미적 용도(메시지 전달, 상징성, 감정표현)가 정서적 반응, 그리고 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 꽃을 구매한 경험이 있는 모든 일반인을 대상으로 설문을 시행하였다. 통계분석 프로그램 Smart PLS 4.0을 이용해서 데이터 검증을 하였다. 실증분석에 따라 꽃말 스토리텔링의 의미적 용도(메세지 전달, 상징성, 감정표현)는 정서적 반응에 유의한 영향을 미치므로 채택되었다. 정서적 반응은 사용의도에 미치는 유의한 영향을 미치므로 채택되었다. 이를 통해 꽃말 스토리텔링의 의미적 용도가 정서적 반응과 사용의도 간의 매개적 역할을 이해하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

Flowers have long been used as an important medium for conveying human emotions and cultural symbols. In particular, the language of flowers plays an important role in conveying emotional messages through the symbolic meanings given to flowers. Flower language storytelling is a method of effectively conveying specific messages by unraveling the meaning of flowers in the form of stories, eliciting touching and emotional responses from the recipient. This study analyzes the impact of the semantic use of cut flower meanings on emotional responses and purchase intention. The purpose of the study is to investigate how the semantic use of cut flower meanings (reliability, symbolism, and emotional expression) affects emotional responses and purchase intention. To achieve this, a survey was conducted among the general public with experience purchasing flowers. Data validation was performed using the statistical analysis program Smart PLS 4.0. Based on the empirical analysis, According to the empirical analysis, the semantic use of flower language storytelling (message delivery, symbolism, emotional expression) was adopted because it significantly affected emotional response. Emotional response was adopted because it significantly affected intention to use. Through this, the semantic use of flower language storytelling can contribute to understanding the mediating role between emotional response and intention to use.
