The Reasons and Two Major Dilemmas of the Qualifying Paper System of Graduate Degree in China

The qualifying paper system of the graduate degree was one management measure in China by which the academic institutions, such as university, guaranteed the quality of graduate education. Given the means of quality cultivation, academic advancement in the future, and the enhance of university reputation, the system had itself forming reasons.The popular of master’s graduate education, the involution of publishing paper and the chaos of graduate cultivation made the qualifying paper system of graduate degree in China fell into the realistic dilemma.The difficulty of managing master’s students, the absent of mentor supervision, the inadequacy of university management, the policy shift of graduate degree in China, made the system encounter the management dilemma.
