From opposition to cooperation: A probe into the transformation of the relationship between the CPC and Bie Tingfang

the relationship between the Communist Party of China and Bie Tingfang has undergone a tortuous process. During the land reform period, the Chinese Communist Party and Bie Tingfang Bie Tingfang took opposing political positions, rooted in fundamental ideological differences and in the heavy-handed approach to local governance adopted by the Communist Party. After the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War War, the KMT and the CPC resumed their cooperation against the Japanese. The changes in the situation prompted Bie Tingfang to change his position and began to re-evaluate his relations with the CPC, eventually eliminating their estrangement and moving towards cooperation with the CPC, jointly respond to the national crisis faced by the country.

中国共产党与别廷芳的关系转变经历了曲折的历程。土地革命时期，源于双方意识形态的根本差异，以及别廷芳在地方治理中对共产党人采取的高压政策，中国共产党与别廷芳之间持全面对立的政治立场。抗日战争爆发后，国共两党重新合作抗日，时局的变化促使别廷芳转变立场，开始重新评估与中国共产党的关系， 最终消除隔阂， 与中共走向合作， 共同应对国家面临的民族危机。
