SWOT분석을 이용한 국제공항 항공물류부문의 발전전략

A Study on the Development Strategy of Air Logistics at International Airport Using SWOT Analysis

본 연구는 한국 항공물류산업의 발전을 위한 전략적 방향성 제시를 연구목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 문헌연구를 통해 전략 수립을 위한 환경분석적 관점에서 SWOT 매트릭스를 구축하고, 최적의 전략적 대안을 제시한다. SWOT 분석결과, 전략적 대안은 SO, ST, WO, WT 4가지 형태로 구성되었다. 그리고 가장 유력한 전략적 대안은 강점을 활용하고 위협을 감소시킬 수 있는 ST 전략인 것으로 추정하였다. 따라서 한국은 전략적인 지리적 위치와 최고 수준의 공항시설 및 항공사를 보유하고 있는 강점을 이용하여 항공물류 서비스품질에서 차별화된 경쟁우위를 창출해야 한다. 본 연구는 인천공항의 확장공사가 마무리 단계에 있고, 역내 국가별 공항개발이 상당히 진행된 상황에서 이루어져 한국 항공물류산업에 시기적절한 전략적 방향에 대한 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze from perspectives for the development of the Korean air logistics industry. The SWOT matrix is constructed as an environmental analysis of the air logistics industry from the macroscopic perspective of strategy establishment. And, optimal strategic alternatives are suggested. The research methodology is combined literature review and SWOT Analysis. As a result of SWOT analysis, the strategic alternative was composed of four types of SO, ST, WO, and WT strategies. And it was confirmed that he strategic alternative was the ST strategy that can utilize its strengths and reduce threats. Therefore, Korea should create a differentiated competitive advantage in air logistics service quality with its strategic geographic location and strength in having the best airport facilities and airlines. It presents meaningful implications to be considered in terms of investment and operational efficiency in airport development. In particular, it can be said that it is effective as it is carried out at a time when the development of airports by country has progressed considerably. It also suggests alternatives to effective strategic directions that are timely for the Korean air logistics industry.
