간호대학생을 위한 가상현실 투약간호 자율실습 프로그램의 효과

The Effectiveness of Self-directed Practice Program of Medication Nursing Using Virtual Reality for Nursing Students

본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 가상현실 투약간호 자율실습 프로그램의 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구설계는 비동등성 대조군 전후설계로 유사 실험연구이다. J도에 위치한 간호학과 2학년 학생 32명이 실험군에, G시에 위치한 간호학과 2학년 학생 32명이 대조군에 배정되었다. 실험군은 가상현실을 활용한 투약간호 자율실습에 참여하였고, 대조군은 모형을 활용한 전통적인 투약간호 자율실습에 참여하였다. 자료수집은 2024년 5월 3일부터 6월 7일까지 구조화된 자기 보고형 설문지를 사용하였으며, 최종 64명의 자료가 분석되었다. SPSS/WIN 28.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 실험군과 대조군 간에 자기주도 학습능력(t=10.53, p<.001), 학습만족도(t=6.60, p<.001) 및 간호 술기 수행 자신감(피내주사(t=6.30, p<.001), 피하주사(t=7.18, p<.001), 근육주사(t=8.03, p<.001), 정맥 수액 주입(t=7.85, p<.001))에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 즉, 가상현실을 활용한 투약간호 실습교육 프로그램을 자율실습에 적용한 경우, 자기주도 학습능력, 학습만족도 및 간호 술기 수행 자신감이 향상되는 것으로 확인되었다. 가상현실을 활용한 투약간호 자율실습 프로그램은 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 반복적으로 학습할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 수 있으므로 간호대학생의 간호 술기 수행 자신감을 향상시키기 위한 효과적인 실습교육 대안으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of self-directed practice program of medication nursing using virtual reality (VR) for nursing students. A quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group pre-test and post-test design was employed. Thirty-two students were assigned to the intervention group and 32 to the control group. The experimental group participated in self-directed medication nursing skills practice using virtual reality. The control group participated in conventional self-directed medication nursing skills practice. Data were collected between May 3 and June 7, 2024, through self-report structured questionnaires and data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 28.0 program. There were significant differences in the level of self-directed learning ability (t=10.53, p<.001), learning satisfaction (t=6.60, p<.001) and confidence in nursing skills (Intradermal injection (t=6.30, p<.001), Subcutaneous injection (t=7.18, p<.001), Intramuscular injection (t=8.03, p<.001), Intravenous fluid infusion (t=7.85, p<.001)) between the experimental and control groups. It has been identified that self-directed learning ability, learning satisfaction and confidence in nursing skills were improved in case of medication nursing skills using virtual reality is applied to self-directed practice. Therefore practice education using virtual reality is recommended to improve the confidence in nursing skills of students because it can be provided without restriction of time and locations.
