숲체험 정서가 아동의 환경보호활동에 미치는 영향 : 창의적 태도의 매개효과

The Effect of Forest Emotional Experience on Children's Environmental Protection Behavior: The Mediating Role of Creative Attitude

연구목적: 본 연구는 아동의 숲체험 정서가 환경보호활동에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하 고, 이 관계에서 창의적 태도의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 최근 자연환 경과의 정서적 교류가 아동의 생태 감수성과 친환경 행동에 긍정적 영향을 준다는 선행연구에 기초하여, 본 연구에서는 숲체험 정서가 창의적 태도를 자극하고, 이를 통해 환경보호활동으로의 심리적 전이가 가능함을 실증적으로 밝히고자 하였다. 연구방법: 초등학생을 대상으로 숲체험 정서, 창의적 태도, 환경보호활동을 측정하기 위해 총 14문항으로 구성된 구조화된 설문지를 제작하여 조사하였다. 설문은 중국 헝양시에 소재한 초등학교에 재학 중인 4~6학년 아동 789명을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 측정도 구는 숲체험 정서 척도, 창의적 태도 척도, 환경보호활동 척도로 구성되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 분석 절차로는 기술통계, 상 관분석, 회귀분석, 매개효과 분석을 실시하였고, 매개변인의 효과 검증을 위해 Sobel 검정을 추가로 수행하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 숲체험 정서가 아동의 환경보호활동에 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 숲체험 정서 수준이 높을수록 환경보호 행동에 더 많이 참여한다 는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 창의적 태도는 숲체험 정서와 환경보호활동 간의 관계를 부 분 매개하며, 매개효과의 유의성이 검증되었다. 연구결론: 숲체험이 아동에게 긍정적인 정서 경험을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 환경에 대한 자발적이 고 주체적인 행동으로 이어질 수 있음을 시사하며, 이 과정에서 창의적 태도가 중요 한 심리적 매개역할을 수행함을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 향후 숲체험 활동 및 환 경교육 프로그램 설계 시 정서적 요소와 창의성 요소를 통합적으로 고려할 필요성을 제안한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effect of children's emotional experience in forest activities on environmental protection behavior and to verify the mediating effect of creative attitude in this relationship. Based on previous studies indicating that emotional interactions with the natural environment positively influence children's ecological sensitivity and eco-friendly behavior, this study aims to reveal that emotional experiences in forest settings stimulate creative attitudes, which in turn facilitate a psychological transition toward engaging in environmental protection behavior. Methods: A structured questionnaire consisting of a total of 14 questions was produced and surveyed to measure forest emotional experience, creative attitudes and environmental protection behavior among elementary school students. Data were collected from 789 students in grades 4 to 6 at elementary schools located in Hengyang City, China. The measurement tools included the forest emotional experience scale, the creative attitude scale and the environmental protection behavior scale. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted, and a mediating effect analysis was performed. In addition, the Sobel test was used to verify the significance of the mediating effect. Results: First, forest emotional experience was found to have a significant positive effect on children’s environmental protection behavior, indicating that higher levels of forest emotional experience are associated with greater engagement in environmental protection behavior. Second, creative attitude partially mediated the relationship between forest emotional experience and environmental protection behavior, and the significance of the mediating effect was verified. Conclusion: The findings suggest that nature-based experiences not only provide children with positive emotional engagement but also foster autonomous environmental protection behavior, with creative attitude serving as a key psychological mediator in this process. These results highlight the importance of integrating emotional and creative components in the design of forest experience and environmental education programs.
