This study examines the applicability and limitations of interactive generative AI, particularly ChatGPT, in Arabic language education for military purposes. It explores the distinct characteristics of foreign and military language training and reviews AI’s potential across key functions such as speaking, listening, writing, and translation. The findings show that AI can serve as an effective support tool in repetitive and structured training environments. However, due to the security, hierarchy, and context-specific demands of military education, the immediate adoption of general-purpose AI remains limited. This study offers a theoretical basis for military-specific language education and proposes future directions, including the development of secure AI platforms and integrated voice feedback systems.
