The purpose of this study is to explore the applicability of TTS(Text to Speech) technology as a tool for Arabic listening education in the era of AI. Despite a growing demand for listening practice, Arabic education in Korea continues to face a shortage of appropriate audio materials, creating challenges for both instructors and learners. To address this issue, the study employed Vidnoz, a TTS application that provides Arabic voice synthesis, to generate audio files based on two textbook texts. The generated TTS audio was refined through expert review by the researcher and native speakers, with adjustments made to pronunciation errors and overly rapid speech caused by insufficient pauses. A survey was conducted with 15 Arabic instructors and 70 learners, and responses from 8 instructors and 40 learners were analyzed. The results indicated that both groups identified listening and speaking as the most challenging skills in Arabic learning. A lack of exposure to authentic listening situations was cited as a key obstacle. Furthermore, both instructors and learners emphasized the importance of integrated text-audio materials, particularly for beginner and intermediate learners. Overall, the TTS audio was positively evaluated in terms of both quality and educational usefulness.
