An Analysis of the Relevant Reports on the Atomic Bomb in Chinese Newspapers at the Beginning of the Victory of the Anti Japanese War

In 1945, the United States dropped two atomic bombs on Japan. The explosions of these two atomic bombs aroused widespread concern and multi-faceted discussions in China, and various domestic newspapers and periodicals reported this event. The large-scale and high-frequency reports in the Kuomintang newspapers highlighted its emphasis on nuclear military technologies such as atomic bombs. the reports of the Communist Party of China’s party newspaper Liberation Daily tended to be objective, emphasizing the main role of the people’s war and embodying the dialectical Marxist view of history.
