This study analyzed the impact of private education institutions’ environmental characteristics on academic satisfaction and residential relocation intentions, targeting 600 parents of elementary, middle, and high school students in Seoul. The results indicated that instructor competence and communication skills had a positive effect on academic satisfaction, indicating that the quality of teaching and parent-institution communication are core factors in satisfaction. In addition, comfort, cleanliness, location, and economic affordability were positively associated with academic satisfaction, while convenience had no significant effect. This suggests that parents and students prioritize factors directly linked to learning outcomes. Finally, academic satisfaction negatively affected relocation intentions, confirming that higher satisfaction with the educational environment strengthens the tendency to remain in the current residence. These findings demonstrate that enhancing the quality of educational services contributes not only to academic achievement but also to regional settlement stability and residential security, with meaningful academic implications.
