생성형 AI 시대, 대학 글쓰기 교육의 재구성 방안 - 과정 중심·장르 기반 교육과 AI 리터러시 교육을 통합한 ‘AI 협력 글쓰기 교육 모형’ 제안

Reframing College Writing Education in the Era of Generative AI : An Integrated ‘AI-Assisted Collaborative Writing Pedagogy’ Combining Process-Based and Genre-Based Instruction with AI Literacy

이 연구는 생성형 AI의 대중화로 변화한 글쓰기 환경에 대응하여, 대학 글쓰기 교육의 재구성 방안을 제안하는 데 목적을 두었다. 구체적으로, 기존의 과정 중심·장르 기반 교육과 AI 리터러시 교육을 통합하여 설계한 ‘AI 협력 글쓰기 교육 모형’을 제안하고, 교육 목표와 구성 원리, 실제 수업 운영을 위한 주차별 수업 계획안을 제시했다. 이 모형은 학습자가 기존 글쓰기 교육이 함양하고자 하는 고등사고력과 표현력, 저자성의 함양과 더불어 이에 대응·확장되는 AI 리터러시를 함양하는 것을 목표로 하며, 글쓰기의 전 과정을 따라 ‘목적 기반 프롬프트 설계-AI 생성물 판별-결과물 편집·조율-책임 있는 활용’이라는 네 가지 AI 리터러시 요소가 유기적으로 결합되도록 구성되었다. 이 연구는 ⑴ 대학 글쓰기 교과 전체의 목표와 구조에 AI 리터러시 교육을 통합한 새로운 교수·학습 모형을 개발하여 제안했다는 점, ⑵ 대학 글쓰기 교육의 다양한 수업 맥락과 교수자가 사용하는 장르 특성에 따라 유연하게 적용 가능한 교육 모듈을 마련하여 수업 운영의 자율성을 높였다는 점, ⑶ 학습자가 AI를 활용하면서도 사고력과 저자성을 강화할 수 있는 구체적인 활동과 이를 지원하는 실제적인 수업 도구를 제시했다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

This study proposes a redesigned framework for college writing education in response to the rapid changes in writing practices brought about by the rise of generative AI. It introduces an AI‑assisted collaborative writing pedagogy that integrates process‑based and genre‑based instruction with AI literacy, outlining its goals, core principles, and a week‑by‑week course plan for implementation. The model aims to foster not only higher‑order thinking, expression, and authorship—the traditional goals of writing instruction—but also AI literacy, by embedding it throughout the writing process. Four elements of AI literacy—purposeful prompt design, critical evaluation of AI outputs, editing and negotiation, and responsible use—are woven into each writing stage. This study is significant as it: (1) proposes a comprehensive model that integrates AI literacy across the structure of college writing courses, (2) offers modular components adaptable to diverse course contexts and genres, and (3) presents practical activities and tools that help students use AI as a collaborator while strengthening their critical thinking and authorship.
