대학생들의 사회적지지가 전공만족도에 미치는 영향관계 연구 - 전공몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로

A study on the influence of social support of college students on their major satisfaction: Focusing on the mediating effect of major immersion

본 연구는 사회적 지지와 전공몰입의 전공만족도간 영향 관계를 규명하고, 전공몰입의 매개효과를 검증하여 대학생들의 향후 전공만족도를 높이고자 한다. 경기 지역 소재의 4년제 대학 3개의 학교 재학 중인 대학생 246명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용한 조사연구이며 사회적 지지와 전공만족도의 관계에서 전공몰입의 매개효과 분석을 위해 SPSS 26.0을 이용하여 상관관계분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였고 SPSS PROCESS Macro Ver 4.2를 활용하여 검증하였다. 결과적으로 사회적 지지가 전공몰입에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치고 전공몰입도 전공만족도에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미친다는 점, 그리고 전공몰입이 사회적 지지와 전공만족도 관계에서 부분적으로 매개함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과로 전공만족도의 향상을 위해서는 사회적 지지를 높여 궁극적으로 대학생들의 전공몰입이 향상될 수 있도록 해야 하겠다.

This study aims to clarify the relationship between social support and major satisfaction, and to verify the mediating effect of major immersion in order to explore strategies for enhancing students' satisfaction with their major. A survey was conducted on 246 students enrolled in three four-year universities located in Gyeonggi Province. Using SPSS 26.0, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were performed to examine the relationships among social support, major satisfaction, and major immersion. Furthermore, SPSS PROCESS Macro Ver. 4.2 was used to test the mediating effect. The results showed that social support had a significant positive effect on major immersion, and that major immersion also positively influenced major satisfaction. Additionally, major immersion was found to partially mediate the relationship between social support and major satisfaction. Based on these results, it is suggested that enhancing social support can positively influence students' immersion to their major, ultimately leading to greater major satisfaction.
