Purpose - This study aimed to investigate the influence of the literary, philosophical, historical, artistic, religious, and cultural knowledge of employees working in small and medium-sized export companies on resilience, and to analyze whether this resilience could have a positive effect on psychological well-being. Design/Methodology/Approach - To this end, we collected and analyzed data from 207 small and medium-sized enterprises currently exporting products overseas. The hypothesized relationships were tested through structural equation modeling (SEM) using AMOS 26.0. Findings - The analysis results showed that among the humanistic knowledge of employees of small and medium-sized export companies, literary, historical, religious, and cultural knowledge played a positive role in resilience, but philosophical and artistic knowledge had no effect. It was also confirmed that employee resilience has a positive effect on psychological well-being. Research Implications - The results of this study will provide insight into the development of education and policies to enhance the humanistic knowledge of employees of small and medium-sized export companies by identifying the humanistic knowledge required to enhance resilience.
