본 연구는 경북지역 항공물동량을 중심으로 수출 품목별 특성과 산업구조를 파악하는데 그 목적을 가진다. 이를 위해 2022년부터 2024년까지 수출 항공물동량 데이터를 활용하여 입지계수(Location Quotient, LQ)와 변이할당분석(Shift-Share Analysis)을 진행하였다. 분석결과, LQ분석결과, 기타정밀화학원료(7.62), 무선전화기(8.99), 실리콘웨이퍼(8.67) 등의 품목이 상대적으로 높은 특화도를 보이는 것으로 나타났으며, 변이할당분석에서는 기계정밀화학연료 7,369.7톤, 기타화학공업제품 779.2톤, 편직제의류 522.7톤 순으로 높은 물동량을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는대구경북신공항과 건설과 관련하여 경북지역 항공물동량과 지역 산업 간 연계성을 실증적으로 분석함으로써, 향후 물류거점 전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 마련했다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 가진다.
Purpose : This research investigates the export air cargo characteristics and industrial composition of the Gyeongbuk region in light of the planned development of the New Daegu-Gyeongbuk Airport. Research design, data and methodology : Using 2022-2024 export air cargo data from the Korea Trade Statistics Promotion Institute, Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift-Share Analysis (SSA) were applied to the top 20 export items to assess specialization and structural dynamics. Results : The LQ analysis indicates that the region shows strong specialization in items such as high-purity chemical materials, mobile communication devices, and semiconductor wafers. The SSA further reveals that while certain export goods exhibit competitive regional advantages, others display signs of structural vulnerability. Conclusions : The findings highlight the importance of aligning regional industrial strengths with airport logistics strategies, offering policy insights for developing the New Daegu-Gyeongbuk Airport as a competitive logistics hub.
