평생교육 관점의 성인 진로교육 실천방안 탐색 : 평생학습도시를 중심으로

Exploring Practical Strategies for Adult Career Education from a Lifelong Education Perspective: Focusing on Lifelong Learning Cities

본 연구는 평생교육 관점에서 성인 진로교육 활성화를 위해 지역 내 다양한 자원을 연계하여 학습생태계를 조성하고, 개인과 사회의 동반 성장을 촉진하는 평생학습도시의 핵심 자원과 성과를 중심으로 성인 진로교육의 실천적 방안 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 첫째, 평생교육과 평생학습도시에 대한 개념적 이해를 토대로 평생교육 관점에서 성인 진로교육을 재정의 하였다. 둘째, 성인 진로교육 관련 선행연구 및 정책 동향을 분석하여, 평생교육관점의 성인 진로교육 실천의 한계점과 주요 시사점을 도출하였다. 셋째, 평생학습도시의 핵심 자원과 성과를 분석하고, 이를 중심으로 성인 진로교육 활성화를 위한 실천적 방안을 제시하였다. 이에, 본 연구는 평생학습도시가 성인 진로교육의 추진 기반으로서 지역의 평생학습생태계 내에서 성인 진로교육을 활성화 할 수 있는 실질적인 실천 방안을 탐색하고 제언한다.

This study explores practical strategies for adult career education by focusing on the core resources and outcomes of Lifelong Learning Cities that, from a lifelong education perspective, link diverse local assets to build a learning ecosystem and promote the co-development of individuals and society. To this end, First, drawing on a conceptual understanding of lifelong education and Lifelong Learning Cities, we reconceptualized adult career education through a lifelong education lens. Second, we analyzed prior research and policy trends on adult career education to identify limitations of practice and key implications from a lifelong education perspective. Third, we examined the core resources and outcomes of Lifelong Learning Cities and, on that basis, proposed actionable strategies to invigorate adult career education. Accordingly, this study explores and recommends practical measures through which Lifelong Learning Cities—as the operational foundation for adult career education—can activate adult career education within regional lifelong learning ecosystems.
