본 연구의 목적은 지난 10년간 국내에서 발표된 장애인 평생교육 전문가 양성에 관한 학술 논문을 분석하여 연구 동향을 체계적으로 고찰하고, 향후 정책 및 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 데 있다. 분석 대상은 KCI, RISS, KISS 등을 통해 수집된 총 18편의 학술지 논문으로, 연도별 게재 현황, 학술지 분포, 연구 방법 유형, 그리고 서술적 분석을 통해 주요 연구 흐름과 시사점을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 2017년 이후 연구가 증가하였으며, 2018-2019년과 2021-2022년에 가장 많은 논문이 발표되었다. 게재 학술지는 총 11개로 분포하였고 ‘인문사회 21’에 가장 많이 실렸다. 연구 방법은 정책 및 제도 분석 중심의 분석연구가 가장 많았으며, 문헌 연구와 질적연구, 조사연구가 뒤를 이었다. 서술적 분석 결과, 자격제도 및 교육과정 개발, 양성 및 배치, 전문 역량 강화 등 다양한 측면에서 연구가 이루어졌으며, 관련 자격 및 체계의 미비로 인한 제도화의 한계가 반복적으로 지적되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 동향 분석을 바탕으로, 장애인 평생교육 전문성에 대한 세부 항목 설정, 네트워크 구축, 법제도 정비 등 전문가 양성을 위한 실천적 방향을 제언한다. 이를 통해 특수교육과 평생교육과 평생교육의 연계 및 통합적 접근을 위한 기반 마련에 기여하고자 한다.
This study aims to systematically examine research trends on the training of lifelong education professionals for individuals with disabilities in South Korea over the past decade, as well as offer foundational insights for future policy and curriculum development. A total of 18 peer-reviewed journal articles were identified through KCI, RISS, and KISS, and analyzed by publication year, journal distribution, methodology, and content. Results show an increase in studies since 2017, with the greatest numbers seen in the 2018-2019 and 2021-2022 periods. The most frequent publication venue was the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences 21. Analytical research focusing on policy and systems was most common-followed by literature reviews, and both qualitative and survey-based studies. Key themes included qualification systems, curriculum development, professional placement, and competency enhancement, with many studies highlighting ongoing institutional limitations. Based on these findings, this study suggests practical strategies for building a structured training system—emphasizing detailed competencies, professional networks, and legal reform—to strengthen the integration between special and lifelong education.
