창의적 사고 증진을 위한 대안적 교육 탐색: 지식 구성 도구로서의 퍼스널 위키(Personal-WIKI) 기반 학습

Exploring Alternative Education for Fostering Creative Thinking: Personal-WIKI Based Learning as a Knowledge Construction Tool

본 연구는 대학 교육에서 핵심적으로 요구되는 창의적 사고 역량에 주목한다. 창의적 사고는 문제해결과 혁신을 가능케 하는 필수 역량임에도 불구하고, 이를 체계적으로 촉진할 수 있는 학습 전략은 여전히 부족한 실정이다. 이러한 문제의식에 기반하여 본 연구는 퍼스널 위키 기반 학습 경험을 통해 대학생들이 창의적 사고 역량을 어떻게 발현하고 구성하는지를 질적으로 분석하고, 그 교육적 함의를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 참여자는 수도권 소재 I 대학교에서 퍼스널 위키 기반 수업을 수강한 3·4학년 학부생 6명이며, 반구조화된 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 Colaizzi의 현상학적 방법 절차에 따라 분석되었다. 분석 결과, 퍼스널 위키 기반 학습은 창의적 사고의 핵심 구성요소인 추론능력, 질문능력, 비판능력, 연합능력을 촉진하는 데 의미 있는 교육적 기여를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 퍼스널 위키가 창의적 사고를 증진시키는 실천적 도구로서 활용될 수 있음을 시사하며, 대학 수업 설계 및 학습 환경 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다.

This study qualitatively examines how undergraduate students develop and construct creative thinking skills through learning experiences based on Personal WIKI activities. The participants were a total of six undergraduate students in their junior or senior in college of study, enrolled in a Personal WIKI based course at I-University in the metropolitan area of South Korea. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological method. The findings indicate that Personal WIKI based learning effectively fosters core components of creative thinking, namely reasoning, questioning, critical thinking, and associative thinking. These results suggest the potential of Personal WIKI as a practical tool to enhance creative thinking in higher education. Furthermore, the study provides foundational insights for designing creativity centered curricula and improving instructional environments in university settings.
