This study aimed to develop an AI-Human-Technology (AIHT) integrated instructional model by incorporating generative AI and metaverse technologies into beauty illustration education, and to evaluate its educational effectiveness through application in a beauty major course at a four-year university. The course was structured in phases, including analog drawing, digital drawing, AI-based color simulation, and metaverse exhibition, with a focus on learner-centered creative production and practical skill development. Educational outcomes were assessed through student interviews, satisfaction surveys, and instructor reflection. The results indicated that AI-driven design analysis and metaverse exhibition experiences positively contributed to enhancing students’ creativity, self-directed problem-solving abilities, and digital collaboration skills. Learner satisfaction was exceptionally high, with an average rating of 4.92 out of 5. Furthermore, practical competencies such as digital drawing, color matching, and content planning, which were highly relevant to the beauty industry, were significantly improved. This study empirically demonstrates the potential of a convergence-oriented beauty education model that integrates artistic creativity with technological innovation, offering valuable implications for the development of future educational curricula in related fields.
