Objective:To examine the impact of adolescents’ self-esteem levels on their sense of self-efficacy. Methods:Using the Competence-Self-Esteem Scale,the Relation-Self-Esteem Scale and General Self-Efficacy Scale , 266 undergraduate and high school students were surveyed. Results: Significant differences existed in the competence-contingent dimension between college and high school participants, with college students scoring significantly higher than high school students (t=4.345,p<0.001,Cohen’s d=0.549); Self-criticism, love contingency, and fear of rejection demonstrated significant correlations with self-efficacy; Relational-contingent self-esteem emerged as a significant negative predictor of self-efficacy(β=-0.179,P<0.01). Conclusion:Elevated levels of relationally contingent self-esteem can diminish an individu’s sense of self-efficacy.
为探究青少年自尊特征对自我效能感的影响,本研究采用《能力权变自尊量表》《关系权变自尊量表》以及《自我效能感量表》对266 名在校大学生和高中生进行测量研究。研究结果显示:大学生被试与高中生被试在能力权变维度得分上存在差异,大学生被试的平均得分显著高于高中生被试(t=4.345,p<0.001,Cohen’s d=0.549);自我批评、权变于爱、害怕被拒绝三个维度均与自我效能感存在显著相关;关系权变自尊能够负向预测自我效能感(β=-0.179,P<0.01)。研究结论表明高关系权变自尊水平会降低个体的自我效能感。
