세종학당 학문 목적 한국어 교육과정 개발을 위한 제언 - 국내·외 한국어 교원을 중심으로

Developing a Korean for Academic Purposes Curriculum at King Sejong Institutes : Focusing on Korean Language Teachers in Korea and Abroad

본 연구는 세종학당의 학문 목적 한국어 교육과정 개발을 위해 국내･외 한국어 교원의 요구를 조사·분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 표준화된 학문 목적 한국어 교육과정 수립 방안을 제언하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구 방법으로는 설문조사와 심층 면담(FGI)을 병행하였으며, 다국적 배경의 교강사를 대상으로 교육 환경과 인식 차이를 분석하였다. 설문은 5점 척도의 Likert 형식으로 구성되었고, 빈도분석과 일원 분산분석(One-way ANOVA), 그리고 Tukey의 HSD 사후 검정을 통해 집단 간 차이를 검증하였다. 모든 통계 처리는 R 통계 소프트웨어를 사용하였으며, 유의수준은 005로 설정하였다. 심층 면담은 국내･외 교강사의 시차와 상황을 고려하여 온라인과 대면을 병행하였고, 사전 동의를 얻어 녹취, 전사한 후 분석하였다. 조사 대상은 특정 지역에 편중되지 않도록 대륙별로 균형 있게 배분하였으며, 세종학당의 규모와 학습 목적을 고려하여 선정하였다. 이상의 조사와 분석 결과를 토대로 세종학당 학문 목적 한국어 교육과정의 표준화 방안을 제언하였다.

This study conducted a needs analysis of domestic and overseas Korean language teachers to collect data for developing a standardized Korean for Academic Purposes curriculum at the King Sejong Institute. Surveys and focus group interviews (FGIs) were employed to examine differences in educational environments and perceptions among instructors from diverse backgrounds. The survey used a five-point Likert scale and was analyzed with frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, and Tukey’s HSD test, using R software at a 0.05 significance level. FGIs were conducted both online and face-to-face, recorded with consent, and analyzed after transcription. Participants were evenly distributed by continent, considering institutional size and learners’ needs. Based on these findings, this study proposes standardization strategies for the Korean for Academic Purposes curriculum at the King Sejong Institute.
