누구를 지배할 것인가?: 아동기 외상과 후기 청소년기의 사회적 고립이 통제·지배 성향과 자살사고에 미치는 상호작용 효과

Interactive Effects of Childhood Trauma and Social Isolation on Interpersonal Dominance and Suicidal Ideation in Late Adolescence

본 연구의 목적은 아동기 외상과 사회적 고립이 후기 청소년기(만 19–24세)의 통제·지배적 대인관계 문제와 자살사고에 미치는 효과를 규명하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 전국의 후기 청소년 500명을 대상으로 2025년 1월 17일부터 1주간 구조화된 설문을 실시하였으며, 기술통계, 상관분석, 조절회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 두 요인은 공통적으로 주요 위험요인으로 작용하여 수준이 높을수록 대인관계 문제와 자살사고가 모두 증가하였다. 특히 대인관계 문제에서는 외상경험과 사회적 고립 간 상호작용이 유의하여, 고립이 낮거나 중간 수준일 때 외상효과가 두드러졌으나 고립 수준이 높아질수록 그 효과가 완화되는 조절효과가 확인되었다. 반면, 자살사고에서는 두 변인이 각각 독립적으로 위험을 높였으며 상호작용은 유의하지 않았다. 또한, 연령은 자살사고에 부적 영향을 미쳐 후기 청소년일수록 위험이 낮았으며, 직업군별 차이도 관찰되었다. 이러한 결과는 IMV 모델과 3단계 이론을 지지하면서, 아동기 외상과 사회적 고립이 후기 청소년의 대인관계 문제와 자살사고에 어떻게 작용하는지를 경험적으로 보여준다. 이후 본 연구의 한계점과 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of childhood trauma and social isolation on controlling-dominant interpersonal problems and suicidal ideation among late adolescents (ages 19-24). A structured survey was conducted with 500 participants in January 2025, and descriptive, correlational, and moderated regression analyses were performed. Results showed that both trauma and isolation were significant risk factors, with higher levels linked to greater interpersonal problems and suicidal ideation. For interpersonal problems, their interaction was significant: trauma effects were stronger at low to moderate isolation but attenuated at high isolation. For suicidal ideation, trauma and isolation each independently increased risk, while their interaction was nonsignificant. Age was negatively associated with suicidal ideation, and occupational differences emerged. These findings support the Integrated Motivational Volitional(IMV) model and the three-step theory, highlighting how trauma and isolation shape interpersonal problems and suicidal ideation in late adolescence. Limitations and implications are discussed.
