무전공 대학 신입생의 긍정심리자본과 진로의식성숙도의 관계사회적지지의 매개효과를 중심으로

Mediating Effect of Social Support between Psychological Capital and Career Maturity in Undeclared Freshmen

본 연구는 무전공으로 대학에 입학한 신입생의 긍정심리자본과 진로의식성숙도간의 관계에 사회적지지가 어떤 영향을 미치는지 탐색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 G시에 소재한 G대학교의 무전공 입학생(n=106)을 대상으로 2025년 3월 한달간 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 pearson상관분석, t-검증, ANOVA, 위계적회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 또한 매개 효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 부트스트래핑을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 전공을 선택하지 않은 채 대학에 입학한 신입생의 긍정심리자본, 사회적지지, 진로의식성숙도간에는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 긍정심리자본은 진로의식성숙도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 동시에 사회적지지를 통해서도 간접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳐 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 무전공 입학제도의 확산에 따라 증가하고 있는 진로 미결정 대학생의 심리사회적 특성을 반영한 진로지원 방안 수립을 위한 실증적인 근거를 제공했다는 점 그 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 후속 연구를 이한 제언을 제시하였다.

This study examined the effect of social support on the relationship between positive psychological capital and career maturity among undeclared freshmen. A survey was conducted with 106 students at G University in March 2025, and the data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation, t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression. Bootstrapping was employed to verify the statistical significance of the mediating effects. Results showed significant positive correlations among positive psychological capital, social support, and career maturity. Positive psychological capital influenced career maturity both directly and indirectly through social support, indicating a partial mediating effect. These findings provide empirical evidence for career support strategies tailored to undeclared students and highlight the importance of strengthening both psychological resources and social support.
