An Analysis of Attribute Values of AR/VR Devices

본 연구는 온라인 시장에서의 AR/VR 기기 거래 현황을 조사하고, 거래되고 있는 기기의 속성가치를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 다나와(danawa) 홈페이지를 통해 온라인 거래현황을 조사하고 헤도닉 가격 분석 모형을 통해 속성가치를 분석하였으며, 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내장메모리는 실감 콘텐츠의 연속성, 몰입감, 상호운영성을 증대시키는 역할을 수행해 AR/VR 기기 개발에 있어 중요한 속성으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 중량은 기기 가치에 양(+)의 영향을 미쳤는데, 이는 고가의 제품일수록 성능 향상과 내구성 강화를 위한 하드웨어 탑재 비중이 높기 때문으로 판단된다. 셋째, AR/VR 기기 시장 활성화를 위해 독립형 VR 기기의 보급 확대와 높은 호환성을 갖춘 AR/VR 기기 개발이 필요하다. 마지막으로, RAM은 기기 가치에 음(-)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 스피커, 마이크, 블루투스 등의 기능은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 온라인 거래 AR/VR 기기 시장에서는 고성능 RAM과 부가 기능 탑재가 상대적으로 중요하지 않을 수 있다.

This study investigated the transaction status of AR/VR devices in the online market and analyzed the attribute value of these devices. To this end, the online transaction status was investigated through the Danawa website and the attribute value was analyzed through a hedonic price analysis model. The main results are as follws. First, embedded memory has been analyzed as an important attribute in the development of AR/VR devices as it plays a role in increasing the seamlessness, immersive, and interoperability of realistic content. Second, weight had a positive impact on device value, which is believed to be due to the fact that more expensive products tend to have more hardware installed to improve performance and durability. Third, to stimulate the AR/VR device market, it is necessary to expand the distribution of standalone VR devices and develop AR/VR devices with high compatibility. Finally, RAM had a negative effect on device value, while features such as speakers, microphones, and bluetooth were statistically insignificant. In the online AR/VR device market, high-performance RAM and additional features may be relatively unimportant.
