대한민국장애인국제무용제 개막작 『공존(共Zone)』 연구

Research on the Opening Production Coexistence of the Korea International Accessible Dance Festival

본 연구는 제1회 대한민국장애인국제무용제의 개막작 공존 을 분석하여 한국적 맥락에서 신체통합춤이 구현되는 양상을 고찰했다. 자넷 애드쉐드의 춤 분석법과 기승전결 구조를 결합한 분석 틀을 적용해 구성요소･형식･해석을 체계적으로 검토했다. 분석 내용을논의한 결과, 해당 작품은 처용무의 사상적 특징을 갈등에서 화합으로 전개되는 서사로재구현했고 신체의 차이를 창의적인 자원으로 활용하여 공존의 미학을 제시했다. 이 연구는 국내 신체통합춤 작품을 대상으로 체계적인 분석을 시도한 첫 연구로서 작품의 미학적가치를 규명했다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.

This study analyzed the opening work Coexistence of the 1st Korea International Dance Festival for the Disabled to examine how physically integrated dance is realized in Korea. Utilizing Janet Adshead's dance analysis method and the exposition-development- climax-resolution structure, the work's components, form, and interpretation were systematically reviewed. Coexistence transformed the dancers' physical differences into aesthetic elements through the five-color system and yin-yang principles of the Charyeongmu dance. It juxtaposed the horizontal movement of wheelchairs with the vertical movement of Korean dance to create complementary actions, transforming physical differences from limitations into creative resources. This study holds significance as Korea's first analysis of physically integrated dance, academically validating the independent aesthetics of disability art.
