특수교사의 긍정적 정서와 직무만족 사이의 관계에서 교사 효능감 유형별 매개효과

The Mediating Role of Teacher Efficacy between Positive Emotions and Job Satisfaction among Special Education Teachers

연구목적 본 연구는 특수교사의 긍정적 정서와 직무만족 사이의 관계에서 교사 자기조절 효능감, 교사-학생 관계에 대한 교사효능감, 일반적 자기효능감의 매개효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 본 연구는 임의 표집의 방법으로 표집된 특수교사 112명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 병렬매개모형으로 다중매개효과를 알아보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 긍정적 정서는 직무만족에 미치는 직접효과는 정적으로 유의하였다. 둘째, 긍정적 정서와 직무만족의 관계에서 영역 특정적 자기효능감(교사 자기조절 효능감, 교사-학생 관계에 대한 교사효능감)의 간접효과는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 긍정적 정서와 직무만족의 관계에서 일반적 자기효능감의 매개효과는 유의하였다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 3가지 유형의 효능감 중에서 일반적 자기효능감이 상대적으로 강한 매개효과를 보였다. 그리고 긍정적 정서의 직무만족에 대한 직접효과는 여전히 유의하였다. 이러한 결과는 직무만족이 낮을 경우 긍정적 정서를 향상시키는 개입을 하거나, 일반적 자기효능감을 향상시키는 개입을 해볼 수 있음을 시사한다.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of teachers’ efficacy regarding teacher self-regulatory efficacy, teacher–student relationships, and general selfefficacy in the relationship between positive emotions and job satisfaction among special education teachers. Method A total of 112 special education teachers were recruited using convenience sampling, and a parallel multiple mediation model was used to test the mediating effects. Results The results were as follows: First, positive emotions had a significantly positive direct effect on job satisfaction. Second, domain-specific self-efficacy (i.e., teacher self-regulatory efficacy and teacher–student relationship efficacy) did not show significant mediating effects. Third, general self-efficacy significantly mediated the relationship between positive emotions and job satisfaction. Conclusion These findings suggest that among the three types of self-efficacy, general self-efficacy had a relatively strong mediating effect. Furthermore, the direct effect of positive emotions on job satisfaction remained significant. These results imply that when job satisfaction is low, interventions aimed at enhancing positive emotions or general self-efficacy may be beneficial.
