花東卜辭는 1991년 殷墟 花園莊 동쪽 지역에서 발굴된 甲骨片에 기록된 卜辭를 가리킨다. 본 논문에서는 이를 정리한 “殷墟花園莊東地甲骨”(이하 “花東”이라 약칭한다)을 기초 자료로, 卜辭의 구성 요소 중 하나인 占辭에 대한 분석을 진행하였다. 특히, 占辭의 형식적인 측면에 중점을 두어, “花東” 占辭의 範圍와 出現 位置에 대해 논의하였다. 이를 통해 “花東” 占辭의 範圍를 확정하여 45片의 占辭를 제시하였다. 나아가, 같은 시기 王卜辭인 賓組와의 비교를 통해 “花東” 占辭에는 ‘吉’, ‘不吉’의 예언이 보이지 않으며, ‘자유로운 형식의 예언’이 주를 이룸을 지적하였다. 또한, 甲骨片에서의 위치를 확인하여 기존 釋文의 오류를 수정하고, “花東”의 占辭는 모두 ‘命辭와 함께 記錄’되었다는 특징이 있음을 제시하였다.
‘Huadong oracle bone inscriptions’(花東卜辭) denotes the engraved records on the oracle bone excavated in the eastern area of Huayuanzhuang(花園莊), a site of the Shang dynasty in 1991, and it was published under the name of “Yinxu Huayuanzhuang Dongdi Jiagu”(殷墟花園莊東地甲骨, hereinafter abbreviated as “Huadong”) in 2003. In this paper, we analyzed the Zhanci(占辭), which is one of the components in oracle bone inscriptions using “Huadong”. In particular, we discussed the range and appearance location of Zhanci of “Huadong” focusing on the formal aspect. After discussion, we confirmed the range of Zhanci and presented 45 pieces of oracle bone as Zhanci in “Hwadong”. Furthermore, via the comparison with Binzu(賓組, Bin group) which is ‘Royal oracle bone inscripions’(王卜辭) in the same period, we pointed out that there are no prophecies of ‘Ji’(吉) or ‘Buji’(不吉), and ‘free-form prophecies’ are the main ones in ‘Huadong oracle bone inscriptions’. Additionally, we also suggested that all the Zhanci of “Huadong” were ‘recorded with Mingci(命辭)’ at the same side of oracle bone.
