韩国旅游公示语的中文翻译问题分析研究 — 以景福宫景区为中心

There has been frequent travel between South Korea and China since they established diplomatic relations. Although the COVID-19 pandemic adversely affected this, following its end and the spread of the Korean Wave, the number of Chinese tourists to South Korea has recovered significantly. In 2023, this figure reached 2.02 million, ranking second in terms of foreign tourists visiting South Korea; thus, South Korea remains a highly popular tourist destination for Chinese residents. Therefore, there is an urgent need to provide standardized, accurate Chinese pronouns for Chinese tourists at various tourist attractions in South Korea. However, according to our investigation, the translation status of Chinese pronouns at these tourist attractions is rather poor, as there are many distortions in the translated information. This will negatively affect Chinese tourists’ perceptions of South Korea and consequently, the development of the South Korean tourism industry. Therefore, studying the Chinese translation of Korean tourist slogans is essential. This paper focuses on Gyeongbokgung Palace, the most popular tourist attraction in Seoul, South Korea. First, we took pictures and collected texts. Subsequently, we detected specific errors in the photos, and these errors were organized and summarized. Finally, we analyzed the cause of the problems, proposing targeted solutions.

韩中两国自建交以来交流频繁。随着疫情的结束和韩流文化的传播,来韩的中国游客人数有了大幅度的回升。2023年达到了202万人,排在外国游客总数的第二位,可见韩国依然是中国居民喜爱的旅游目的地之一。因此,在各个旅游景点为中国游客提供规范准确的中文公示语已成了当务之急。 但是根据我们的调查发现,韩国内旅游景点的公示语中文翻译现状不容乐观,存在着诸多翻译信息失真、专有名词不统一、表达不规范以及误译的现象。这势必会让中国游客对韩国产生负面的看法,甚至会影响韩国旅游业的发展,景区公示语的问题必须引起重视,因此针对韩国旅游公示语的中文翻译问题的这个主题有着研究的必要性和紧迫性。 本论文把韩国首尔最重要的旅游景点——景福宫景区做为实地考察的第一站,首先对景区的公示语中文翻译内容进行实地拍照和文本采集,找出其中的错误加以整理和归纳,然后根据旅游公示语的翻译策略和原则,着重从标点格式问题、字词问题、语法问题、表达及修辞等方面分析出现问题的原因并提出了具有针对性的解决方案。
