The Present Usage and Future Prospects of the Social Appellation “Tongzhi(同志)”

우리는 드라마 『현위대원(县委大院)』에서 호칭어 ‘同志’를 사용할 때, 화자 및 청자양측의 신원 정보, 즉 수직적 거리(연령, 존비)와 수평적 거리(친소, 거리)와 같은 요소, 그리고 화용 맥락 등을 정리하였다. 이어서 사회적 호칭어 ‘领导’, ‘师傅’, ‘先生’ 등이 등장하는 맥락과 비교 분석을 통해 사회적 호칭어 ‘同志’의 사용 인구와 사용 맥락을 보다심층적이고 입체적으로 파악하고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 다음 질문들에 대한 답을 시도하고자 한다: 1. 어떤 맥락에서 반드시 ‘同志’라는 호칭어를 사용해야 하는가? 어떤 맥락에서는‘同志’를 사용할 수 있는가? 2. 현재 실제로 ‘同志’라는 호칭어를 사용하는 사람들은 누구인가? 3. 정치적 신분 색채가 있는 호칭어로서 ‘同志’와 ‘领导’는 사용 맥락에서 어떤 차이가 있는가? 4. 사회적으로 일반적인 호칭어인 ‘同志’와 ‘师傅’, ‘先生’은 사용 맥락에서 어떤 차이가 있는가? 5. 사회적 호칭어 ‘同志’의 향후 발전 추세는 어떻게 될 것인가? 소멸로 향할 것인가, 아니면 부흥의 가능성이 있는가?

This study examines the use of the appellation “Tongzhi(同志)” within the television series Bright Future. Specifically, it analyzes the identity characteristics of the communication participants, including both vertical distance (age, status) and horizontal distance (intimacy, proximity), as well as the situational context of the communication. Furthermore, the study contrasts the contexts in which social appellations such as “leader” “master” and “mister” are used. This comparative analysis allows for a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of the user groups and usage contexts of “Tongzhi(同志)”. Ultimately, this research aims to address the following questions: 1.Who currently uses the appellation “Tongzhi(同志)”? 2.In which contexts is “Tongzhi(同志)” necessary, and in which contexts is its use optional? 3.How does “Tongzhi(同志),” as an appellation imbued with political significance, differ from “leader” in terms of usage context? 4.How does “Tongzhi(同志),” as a general social appellation, compare with terms such as “master” and “mister”? 5.What is the future trajectory of “Tongzhi(同志)” as a social appellation—will it fade away or experience a resurgence? 我们对电视剧《县委大院》中使用称谓语“同志”时交际双方的身份信息，包括垂直距离（长幼、尊卑）和水平距离（亲疏、远近），以及交际语境等进行梳理。进而与社会称谓语“领导”、“师傅”、“先生”等出现的语境进行比较分析。以便更加深入立体地定位社会称谓语“同志”的使用人群及使用语境，最终尝试对以下问题给出答案： 1.在哪些语境一定要使用“同志”这一称谓语？哪些语境可能会使用“同志”？ 2.当前到底哪些人在使用“同志”这一称谓语？ 3.同样是带有政治身份色彩的称谓语，“同志”与“领导”在使用语境上有哪些不同？ 4.同样是社会通用称谓语，“同志”与“师傅”、“先生”在使用语境上有哪些不同？ 5.社会称谓语“同志”今后的发展趋势如何，是走向消亡还是有复兴的可能？
