Development of a Chinese Speaking Class Based on Flipped and Problem-Based Learning

본 연구는 FPBL(Flipped Problem-Based Learning) 학습 기반 중국어 회화 수업을 설계하고 그 효과를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 플립러닝과 문제 기반 학습을 결합한 교수법을 개발하여 실제 수업에 적용하였으며, 학습자의 참여도, 학습 성취도, 수업 만족도를 평가하였다. 연구 결과, FPBL 교수법은 학습자의 자기주도적 학습 능력을 향상시키고, 실용적인 중국어 회화 능력 개발에 효과적임이 확인되었다. 또한, 학습자들은 토론과 발표 중심의 학습 활동을 통해 중국어 의사소통 능력을 체계적으로 습득할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 향후 FPBL 교수법의 적용 범위를 확대하고, 보다 효과적인 중국어 교육 모델을 개발하는 데 기초 자료를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

This study analyzes the effectiveness of applying the FPBL (Flipped Problem-Based Learning) instructional method in Chinese language education and examines learners' responses. To achieve this, a teaching model that integrates flipped learning and problem-based learning was designed and implemented in actual classes. The study evaluated learners' participation, academic achievement, and course satisfaction. The findings indicate that learners generally responded positively to the FPBL approach. In particular, the instructional elements designed to address the shortcomings of traditional classes were found to be effective. The proposed FPBL method successfully supplements the limitations of conventional Chinese language education and enhances learners' self-directed learning abilities. Future research should explore broader applications of the FPBL approach in diverse learning environments and target audiences while developing more practical instructional strategies optimized for business-oriented Chinese language education.
