이 연구는 대학생이 작성한 생성형 AI 프롬프트의 유형을 분류하고 활용 양상을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생이 작성한 생성형 AI 프롬프트의 유형은 크게 작성 방법과 내용으로 나누어 볼 수 있었다. 둘째, 작성 방법과 관련된 프롬프트 유형은 복사·붙여넣기, 표현 변경, 재구조화 유형이 있었다. 셋째, 내용과 관련된 프롬프트 유형은 정보 생성(정보 탐색, 정보 적용, 정보 분석 요청), 텍스트 생성(개방형 생성, 제약형 생성 요청), 점검 및 조정(피드백 제시, 피드백 요청) 유형이 있었다. 넷째, 학생들이 가장 많이 사용한 유형은 재구조화 유형과 정보 탐색 유형, 적게 사용한 유형은 복사·붙여넣기 유형과 피드백 요청 유형이었다. 다섯째, AI 리터러시 점수와 프롬프트 리터러시 유형간의 관계를 분석했을 때 점수가 높은 학생들은 정보 분석 유형, 낮은 학생들은 개방형 생성 유형을 활용할 가능성이 각각 유의하게 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 통해 대학생의 AI 프롬프트 유형 연구의 필요성과 프롬프트 리터러시 교육에 대한 연구자의 관심을 촉구하였다.
This study classified the types of generative artificial intelligence prompts written by university students and examined their usage patterns. The results are summarized as follows. First, the types of prompts written by university students can be largely divided into method of construction and content. Second, the types related to construction methods includ copy-and-paste method, expression modification, and restructuring. Third, the types related to content included information generation (information retrieval, information application, information analysis requests), text generation (open-ended and constrained generation requests), and checking and adjustment (providing feedback, requesting feedback). Fourth, the most frequently used method were restructuring and information retrieval, whereas the least frequently used method were copy-and-paste and feedback request. Fifth, when analyzing the relationship between AI literacy scores and prompt literacy types, it was confirmed that students with higher scores had a significantly increased likelihood of using the information analysis type, while students with lower scores had a significantly increased likelihood of using the open-ended generation type. Through the results, the study emphasizes the necessity of investigating university students’ AI prompt types and calls for researchers’ to pay attention to prompt literacy education.
