Purpose: To systematically review the effects of COVID-19 infection on maternal health, psychological well-being, childbirth outcomes, and participation in prenatal and postnatal education. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted for studies published between December 2019 and August 2025 in PubMed, CINAHL, RISS, KISS, and DBpia. Keywords included “COVID-19,” “pregnancy,” “maternal outcomes,” “online education,” and “intervention.” Inclusion criteria were studies focusing on pregnancy and childbirth, while non-pregnant populations, severe complication cases, and family-centered care studies were excluded. Two researchers independently performed data extraction and assessment, resolving disagreements through discussion. Repeated reviews of selected studies strengthened qualitative evaluation. Results: Selected studies reported increased psychological stress, changes in maternal health management, participation in online education, and improvements in parenting competence among pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: COVID-19 broadly impacted maternal health and educational experiences. These findings provide essential evidence to inform the development of responsive strategies and education programs to support maternal and child health during public health crises.
