Parenting Dilemmas and Strategic Responses: A Study of Young Adults in the Modern Context

Young people in the new era face parenting challenges in five key areas. School education lacks cultivation of values regarding childbirth; parenting support policies have gaps in critical areas—economic subsidies and maternity leave policies are insufficient, and childcare services struggle with the dilemma of being “neither universally accessible nor high-end adequate”; workplace gender discrimination and the disconnection of re-employment knowledge are prominent; there is a conflict between traditional and modern values; and digital media magnifies “childbearing anxiety.” Based on these, this paper proposes countermeasures from five dimensions: integrating values of childbirth into the education system from primary school through university; implementing tiered subsidies, extending maternity leave, and optimizing community-based childcare; establishing mechanisms to combat workplace discrimination and promoting flexible work arrangements; fostering social consensus through cultural fields; and innovating communication mechanisms through technology empowerment and scenario integration, with in-depth content promotion, to systematically support young parents and respond to national population strategies.

新时期青年的育儿困境面临着五方面问题，学校教育缺乏生育价值观培养；生育支持政策在关键环节存在短板：经济补贴和产假政策覆盖不足，托育服务面临“普惠无位、高端无力”困境；职场性别歧视和复工知识脱节现象突出；传统与现代价值观冲突；数字媒体放大“生育焦虑”。基于此，本文从五个维度提出对策：将生育价值观教育融入大中小学教育体系；制定分级补贴、延长产假、优化社区托育；建立反职场歧视机制、推广弹性工作制；通过文化场域培育社会共识；通过技术赋能与场景融合的创新传播机制，深耕宣传内容，以系统支持青年育儿、响应国家人口战略。
