“X不X的”는 현대 중국어 구어에서 자주 사용되는 구문 형식 중 하나로, 기본적인 구성 의미는 화자가 X라는 화제에 대해 중요하지 않다고 여기며 X를 부정함으로써 무관심, 부정적 입장 또는 거절의 태도를 드러내는 것이다. 이때 화자의 어조는 대체로 부드럽고 완곡하다. 본고는 실제 언어 자료에 나타난 “X不X的”의 통사적 환경과 의미 내포를 체계적으로 고찰하고, 상호작용 구문문법의 이론 틀을 바탕으로 해당 구성의 생성 동인과 형성 메커니즘을 심층적으로 탐구함으로써 그 이면에 존재하는 언어 인지 및 담화기능을 밝히고자 한다.

“X不X的” is one of the frequently used constructions in spoken Modern Chinese. Its basic constructional meaning can be summarized as follows: the speaker considers the topic X to be insignificant, thus denies it and expresses an attitude of indifference, disagreement, or rejection, typically in a mitigated and indirect tone. This paper conducts a systematic investigation of the syntactic environments and semantic implications of the “X不X的” construction based on authentic language data. Drawing on the theoretical framework of Interactional Construction Grammar, the study further explores the motivations and mechanisms underlying the formation of this construction, aiming to reveal its cognitive and communicative functions in discourse.
