이중목적어구문(double object construction)에 대한 연구는 생성문법학계에서 오랫동안 다루어져 왔다. 이 논문에서는 중국어 이중목적어구문에 대한 이전의 몇 가지 분석과 그것들의 문제점을 살펴보고(2절), 이어서 이 문제점을 해결하는 새로운 방안을 모색하였다(3절). 특히 3절에서는 경동사구(Light verb Phrase)와 부가논항구(Applicative Phrase)를 이용하여 중국어 이중목적어구문의 통사구조를 재분석하였다. 이에 따르면 중국어의 이중목적어구문은 [vP 주어 [v CAUSE [vApplP 간접목적어 [vAppl BECOME/給[RECEIVE/AFFECTED] [VP ...직접목적어...]]]]]의 구조를 기반으로 도출된다.
The study of double object construction has long been addressed in the field of generative grammar. In this paper, several previous analyses of Chinese double object construction and their problems were examined (section 2), and then new ways to solve these problems were sought (section 3). In particular, in section 3, the syntactic structure of Chinese double object construction was re-analyzed using the light verb phrase and the applicative phrase. According to this, the double object construction in Mandarin Chinese is derived based on the structure of [vP Subject [v CAUSE [vApplP Indirect Object [vAppl BECOME/給[RECEIVE/AFFECTED] [VP ...Direct Object...]]]]].
