그 동안 來著’에 관한 선행 연구들에서는 다양한 의미들이 ‘來著’의 기본 의미로 지적되어 왔다. 그러나 ‘來著’의 의미 기능에 대한 전문적인 논의는 거의 이루어지지 않아 그 기본적인 의미에 대해서조차 아직까지 명확한 결론이 도출되지 못한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 논의에서 많이 제기한 ‘來著’의 대표적인 의미인 ‘근과거(近過去)/과거’, ‘회상’, ‘과거 완료/과거 진행’, ‘사실 존재에 대한 확증성 긍정(確證性肯定)’, ‘증거성 의미’에 대해서 면밀하게 검토했으며 그의 기본 의미가 ‘증거성 의미’인 것을 입증하였다.
In the preliminary research on “來著(laizhe)”, lots of plans based on its meaning have been proposed by researchers, but there are few specialized researches on the meaning. Up to now, the basic meaning of “來著(laizhe)” is far from conclusive. Under this background, this paper has carried on the detailed thorough discussion analysis on the previous research in relevant representative meaning, for example, ‘nearly past/past’ and ‘recall’, ‘past perfect tense/past continuous tense’, ‘certain affirmation of the existence of facts’ and ‘evidentiality’, then it is concluded that the ‘evidentiality’ is the basic meaning.
