从地理语言学的角度看地名学的语言学功能 - 以宜兴地名缀与地名异读为中心

The Applications of toponymy in Geolinguistics

This paper discussed two applications of toponymy in geolinguistic perspective.First, we did a case study on the toponymy of Yixing.By classifying and mapping the suffix of toponymy which represent the geographical informations of settlements,we can verify the consciousness of dialects such as poder areas and lakeside areas.Then,we presented three strategies for the folks in other places to refer some certain toponymy by analyzing a toponymy case which mapping the pronunciation of zhangzhu in Yixing.We find that if the toponymy of a town carried out a irregular sound change,we can acquire the radiation areas of this town by doing a fieldwork in the region around the town to survey the pronunciation of this town’ toponymy. The social survey on the proportion of floating personnels can also proof the conclusion of our research.

本文从地理语言学的角度看地名学研究的两种功能。首先并以宜兴市地名研究为个案，通过对反映聚落地理信息的地名缀的抽象提取制作地名缀分布图，以印证“圩埂”“渎区”的语言意识区域；其次，又通过调查地名“张渚”的读音在全市的分布，分析了其他地区对某个特定地名读音的三种不同的策略。如果某个地名在其所在地发生过不规则音变，调查这个地名在周边区域的读音，就可以测试地名所在地的辐射范围。结合流动人口结构的社会调查可以佐证我们的研究。
