본고는 중첩식 ‘V着V着’에 관해 통사·의미적 측면에서 분석한 후, 정보구조 원리에 근거해 ‘V着V着+X’를 배경정보와 전경정보로 구분하여 설명하였다. 통사적 측면에서 ‘V着V着’의 V는 자주동사가 쓰이는데 특히 동작동사의 출현빈도가 높게 나타난다. 정보구조 원리에 근거하면 ‘V着V着’는 배경정보에 속하고 X는 전경정보에 속한다. 전경정보에 속하는 X는 다양한 형식이 올 수 있으며 어기부사가 출현함으로써 ‘V着V着’에서 X로 사건이 ‘전환’되었음을 강조할 수 있다. 중첩식 ‘V着V着’ 구문은 한국어 연결어미 ‘-다(가)’와 유사한 의미 기능을 지니고 있다. 한국어 연결어미 ‘-다(가)’ 역시 어떤 사태가 중단된 후 다른 사태로 전환된다는 것을 기본의미로 삼고 있다. ‘V着V着’ 구문은 ‘전환’에서 ‘전환1’, ‘전환2’로 확장되며 각각 ‘원인’, ‘조건’의 의미기능을 지니는데, 이들 역시 큰 틀에서 보면 ‘전환’의미로 해석될 수 있다. 중첩식 ‘V着V着’의 전환 의미는 논리적 인과, 객관적 조건에 의한 전환관계가 아니라, ‘원인-결과’, ‘조건-결과’ 간에는 간접적이고 느슨한 전환관계로 이루어 졌으며, 문체적 측면에서 화자의 주관성이 반영된 구문이라고 할 수 있다.
Chinese is a non-inflectional language, so it needs some word-formation devieces to form new word or express various grammatical meanings. Reduplication is a very common phenomenon in Chinese and ‘VzheVzhe(‘V着V着’)’ is a very common structure in Chinese, which usually used as expressing continue event for a short time. In the snytactic and semantic terms, the ‘V’ in the structure of ‘V着V着’’ is a certain different between these three kinds of verbs in semantic features, such as transivity, autonomy and continuity. According to the information structure principle, ‘V着V着’ is considered old information, X is considered new information, and X varies in syntatic and semantic function. According to the information structure model, ‘V着V着’ represents imperfective, while X represents perfective. The ‘V着V着’ has a meaning function similar to the conjunction ending ‘-Da(ga)’ in Korean. The ‘V着V着’ and conjunction ending ‘-Da(ga)’ extend from ‘transition’ to ‘transition 1’ and ‘transition 2’ each having meaning functions of ‘cause’ and ‘condition’. However, there are also a difference in the use environment.
