Tre Rebel Nature of Chinese Pronoun ZIJI against Binding Theory

In recent years, it has been one of the topics of general interests in the world linguistic circles to study Chinese reflexive pronoun. However, the current amendment version is not good enough to illustrate the matter of usage of long distance binding for Chinese pronoun ‘ZIJI’. The article tries to approach this subject from historical angle. Through a deep study of the usages of ‘ZI’ and ‘JI’, which has been showed in archaic Chinese idioms, the article is in order to find out the rebel nature of Chinese pronoun ‘ZIJI’ against the Binding theory, and therefore to achieve a unity of study of Chinese pronoun ‘ZIJI’ from both historical and common angles.
