After the ancestors of Korean people borrowed Chinese characters to use, it is assumed that the variants of Sino-Korean words in the Old Chinese including words of derivation by tone change must be transmitted to Korean peninsula too. This study found that the Sino-Joseon words in Sino-Korean Annotation books have two types of variants of Sino-Joseon Korean words whether the Chinese words of derivation by tone-change complied or not. The first type is the words that the Chinese words of derivation by tone-change was complied, such as 間, 強, 難, 內(納), 答(對), 分, 受(授), The second type is the words that the Chinese words of derivation by tone-change was not complied, such as 去, 善, 勝. In the first type, we can understand that the Chinese words of derivation by tone-change had been preserved, despite the Rising tone and the Falling tone revealed confused in Sino-Korean Annotation books.
