This paper takes the compulsory course of CSL in X University as the research object and analyzes the problems in the course of trying out the compulsory Chinese course by combining with the course evaluations. According to the results of the study, there are four problems worth noting: the first is many students lack interest in learning Chinese; the second is the teaching progress is too fast, which causes the learners' cognitive overload; the third is it is difficult to communicate between teachers and learners, and there are some problems on the cohesion of teaching contents between team-teaching teachers ; the fourth is the learners have too few opportunities to practice speaking. Therefore, this paper puts forward the following five suggestions: the first is to give and strengthen learners' motivation to learn Chinese; the second is to return the leading right in the teaching activities to the teachers, so that they can enliven the classroom and teach learners in accordance with their aptitudes. the third is to implement the method of one teacher's single teaching instead of A, B two teachers' team teaching. the fourth suggestion is to teaching Chinese in Korean but not in English. the fifth suggestion is to change the teaching emphasis from “more reading and writing, less listening and speaking” to “more listening and speaking, less reading and writing.”
