The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the elementary Korean grammar education content of two mobile language learning platforms, Duolingo and Memrise. Each platform offers a distinct educational approach: Duolingo emphasizes gamified, intuitive learning through repetitive sentence exposure, while Memrise provides explicit grammar explanations and systematic comparative learning. The analysis reveals that Duolingo effectively facilitates natural grammar acquisition but lacks clear rule explanations. Conversely, Memrise delivers structured grammar instruction with comparative insights, though it requires improvements in sustaining learner motivation. This study discusses the strengths and limitations of both platforms, offering implications for developing effective learning strategies tailored to beginner Korean learners and for the future development of mobile-based Korean language education content. The findings suggest that combining intuitive exposure with explicit grammar teaching could enhance learning outcomes.
