군 간부 양성 교육기관의 드론 교육과정 체계화 방안 연구

A Study on the Systematization of Drone Education Curriculum in Military Officer Training Institutions

현대전은 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence, AI), 무인항공기(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV), 군집운용(Swarm Operation) 등 첨단 과학기술이 결합된 정보·기술전으로 전환되고 있다. 러시아-우크라이나 전쟁에서 드론이 핵심 전력으로 부상하면서 군 교육체계의 혁신이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 전장 사례분석과 국내외 군사교육 문헌연구를 통해 군 간부 양성 교육기관의 드론 교육과정 체계화 방안을 제시한다. 부대 내 드론 운용의 실질적 주체인 초급간부(장교·부사관)를 대상으로 입문-중급-고급 3단계 표준 교육과정과 병과별 역할 기반 교육모델을 개발하였다. 분석 결과, 드론 교육은 조종·정비 중심에서 전술운용, 전자전(Electronic Warfare, EW) 대응, AI 자율비행, 군집운용을 통합한 전장 적용 중심으로 확대되어야 함을 도출하였다. 본 연구가 제안한 시뮬레이터 기반 선행교육과 민·군 협력 인증체계는 군 드론 운용능력 향상과 미래전 대비 교육 인프라 구축에 기여할 것이다.

Modern warfare integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and swarm operations, demanding innovation in military education. The Russia–Ukraine War showed that drones have become decisive combat assets. This study proposes a systematized drone education curriculum for military training institutions, focusing on junior officers and noncommissioned officers (NCOs) who operate and manage drones at the unit level. A role-based training model and standardized step-by-step curriculum are presented. The results indicate that drone education should expand beyond piloting and maintenance to include tactical operations, electronic warfare (EW) response, AI autonomous flight, and swarm control. Standardizing training and introducing civil–military cooperative certification programs will strengthen future military drone capabilities.
