조선 후기 마진서적 중 마진편은 대부분의 연구가 저자와 저술시기의 논란과 관련해서 진행되어왔다. 그로인해 책의 콘텐츠, 특히 처방 계통과 관련해서는 연구가 미진했다. 본 연구에서는 다른 3대 마진서적인 마과회통, 마진기방과 마진편의 처방을 비교함으로써 마진편의 처방 계통을 밝히고 저술시기 또한 간접적으로 밝혀보고자 했다. 마진편의 처방 대부분이 마과회통, 마진편과 겹쳤으며 겹치는 처방의 대부분이 완전히 같거나 비슷했다. 이를 통해 마진편은 마과회통, 마진기방과 비슷한 계통의 마진서적이라는 결론을 내렸다.
Most of the research on Majin-pyun (late Joseon Dynasty) has been conducted in relation to the controversy over the author and the composition date. As a result, research on the actual contents of the book, especially the prescription system, has been insufficient. This study attempted to clarify the prescription system of Majin-pyun by comparing the prescriptions of the other two texts on Majin, namely Magwahoe-tong and Majin Gi-bang. Most of the prescriptions for Majin-pyun overlapped with other Majin texts, and most of the overlapping prescriptions were completely identical or similar. With this discovery, it can be inducted that Majin-pyun is written under similar systems to Magwahoe-tong and Majin Gi-bang.
