Experiences and Insights of the Communist Party of China in Navigating Complex Situations during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression

During the War of Resistance against Japanese aggression, national and class contradictions were intertwined, while conflicts between the enemy and ourselves and internal conflicts intersected in complex ways. The Communist Party of China accurately identified and firmly grasped the principal contradictions, implemented the correct policy of the national united front against Japanese aggression, adhered to the total resistance line, implemented the general strategic principle of protracted war and the strategies and tactics of people’s war. This successfully led the Chinese people to the great victory in the War of Resistance. Effectively addressing risks and challenges on the new journey ahead requires consciously guiding our new practice with Sinicized and modernized Marxism. This entails adhering to systems thinking, maintaining strategic resolve, having the courage and prowess to wage struggle, and overcome difficulties, combat risks, and confront challenges with the spirit of historical initiative.

抗战时期，民族矛盾和阶级矛盾相互交织，敌我矛盾和内部矛盾纵横交错。中国共产党准确把握并紧紧抓住主要矛盾，实行正确的抗日民族统一战线政策，坚持全面抗战路线，实施持久战的战略总方针和人民战争的战略战术，成功领导中国人民赢得了抗日战争的伟大胜利。有效应对新时代新征程的风险挑战，要自觉用中国化时代化的马克思主义指导新的实践，坚持系统思维，保持战略定力，敢于和善于斗争，以历史主动精神克难关、战风险、迎挑战。
