광복 80주년, 3·1 운동 정신의 통일교육적 계승 논의

80th Anniversary of Liberation: Discussing the Succession of the March 1st Movement Spirit in Unification Education

광복 80주년 상황에서, 독립정신의 대표적인 사건인 3․1운동 정신을 이어받아 올바른 통일교육을 전개함은 오늘날 중요한 교육적 논의 중의 하나이다. 2023년 이래로 한국 사회는 뉴라이트 세력들의 준동에 대해 우려하면서 역사적 무감각과 아집, 소통 부재를 겪었으며 오늘도 여진은 지속되고 있다. 그러한 의미에서 앞으로 전개될 통일교육적 지향은 광복 80주년의 3.1 운동의 독립정신을 알차게 이어나가야 할 것이다. 이에 통일교육적 계승을 강화하기 위해 일제 강점기 저항의 3.1 운동에 대한 국민적 의의와 공감대를 파악하고자 한다. 또한 본 연구는 3․1운동을 전개한 역사적 의의를 파악하며, 광복 80주년에 통일교육의 진척을 조성하는 방안을 개진하고자 한다.

In the context of the 80th anniversary of liberation, carrying on the spirit of the March 1st Movement, a representative event of the independence movement, and conducting proper education for unification is today one of the very important educational discussions. Since 2023, Korean society has experienced historical insensitivity, stubbornness, and a lack of communication while expressing concern over the activities of New Right forces, and the aftereffects continue even today. In this sense, future directions in unification education should meaningfully carry forward the spirit of independence of the March 1st Movement on the 80th anniversary of liberation. To strengthen the educational succession of unification, it is necessary to understand the national significance and consensus regarding the March 1st Movement, which resisted Japanese colonial rule. Additionally, this study aims to grasp the historical significance of the March 1st Movement and to propose ways to advance unification education on the 80th anniversary of liberation.
