장애인이 지각하는 가족 건강성이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 우울의 매개효과

The Impact of Family Strength Perceived by Persons with Disability on Life Satisfaction: Mediation Effect of Depression

본 연구는 장애인의 가족 건강성이 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하고 그 변수들간의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구는 한국장애인 개발원의 2022년 장애인 삶 패널조사 데이터를 활용하였으며 10-70세 장애인 3,392명을 자료 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 분석 기법으로 위계적 회귀분석과 프로세스 매크로를 활용한 부트스트래핑 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과로 장애인의 가족 건강성은 이들의 삶의 만족도에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며 가족 건강성과 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 우울이 매개하는역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 장애인의 가족 건강성 증진을 통한 우울의 감소 및 삶의 만족도를향상시키기 위한 실천적 방안과 정책적 함의를 도출하였다.

This study aims to examine whether family strength perceived by persons with disability influences life statisfaction and whether the relationship between family strength and life satisfaction is mediated by depression. This study analyzed 3,392 persons with disability aged 10 to 70 and they are from Disability and Life Dynamics Panel (2022) of the Korea Disabled People’s Development Institute. Hierarchical regression and Process Macro with Bootstrapping method were utilized for analyses. Key findings are as follows: First, this study found that family strength is positively related to life statisfaction among persons with disability. Second, the analyses reported that the impact of family strength of persons with disability on life statisfaction was significantly and partially mediated by depression. This study concludes with several implications for enhancing family strength and decreasing depression of persons with disability.
