디지털 및 생체신호 기반 인지기능 평가도구의 국내 활용에 대한 고찰

Digital and Biosignal-Based Cognitive Function Assessment Tools in Korea: An Integrative Review

목적: 본 연구는 디지털 기술 및 생체신호를 활용한 인지 기능 평가 도구의 국내 활용 현황을 서술적으로 고찰하고, 이러한 도구들의 주요 특성과 임상적 의의를 분석하고자 하였다. 방법: KoreaMed, KCI, DBpia, RISS를 활용하여 2025년 9월까지 국내 학술지에 발표된 원저 논문을 검색하였으며, 선정 기준에 따라 8편이 최종 포함되었다. 본 연구는 서술 적 문헌고찰 방식으로 문헌을 정리하였고, 체계적 문헌고 찰에서 요구되는 질 평가 및 편향 위험 분석은 수행하지 않았다. 학술 논문으로 보고되지 않은 국내 활용 사례는 부록(Table A1)에 제시하였다. 결과: 최종 포함된 8편의 연구에는 태블릿 기반 전산화 인지선별검사, 온라인 인지검사, 가상현실(VR) 기반 인지 평가, 뇌파(EEG) 및 기능적 근적외선분광법(fNIRS) 등 다 양한 디지털 도구가 포함되었다. 이러한 디지털 인지평가 도구들은 전통적 검사와 유의한 상관관계를 보였으며, 일부 인지 영역에서는 민감도가 향상되어 경도인지장애(MCI)나 치매의 조기 변별에 활용 가능함을 시사하였다. 결론: 국내에서도 디지털 및 생체신호 기반 인지기능 평 가 도구의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있으며, 향후 전통적 인지평가를 보완하는 객관적이고 효율적인 평가 수단으로 활용될 것으로 기대된다. 본 서술적 고찰은 이러한 도구들 의 현황과 효과를 종합적으로 제시함으로써, 노인성 인지 저하 및 신경인지재활 분야에서 디지털 평가도구의 임상적 활용 근거와 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

This study aimed to review the domestic research landscape on digital and biosignal-based tools for cognitive function assessment and analyze their key characteristics and clinical implications. Research articles published in Korean academic journals up to September 2025 were searched using KoreaMed, KCI, DBpia, and RISS, and eight studies met the inclusion criteria. The literature was organized using a narrative review approach, and systematic review components, such as quality appraisal and risk of bias assessment, were not conducted. The included studies used various digital assessment tools, including tablet-based computerized screening tests, online cognitive assessments, virtual reality (VR)-based tasks, electroencephalography (EEG), and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). These tools have shown significant associations with traditional cognitive tests, and several studies have suggested their potential for the early differentiation of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) from dementia. As digital and biosignal- based cognitive assessments continue to be developed and applied in Korea, they are expected to serve as objective and efficient complements to conventional assessment methods. This narrative review synthesizes current domestic findings and provides foundational insights into the clinical use and future development of digital cognitive assessment tools in the fields of age-related cognitive decline and neurocognitive rehabilitation.
