Life education guides individuals to understand, respect, and cherish life, and to actively explore and create meaning in life. This study was conducted in kindergartens in Guangdong Province in the form of planting activities. A questionnaire survey was administered to 103 kindergarten teachers, of which 100 valid responses were collected. The findings indicate that life education planting activities in kindergartens face several challenges, including monotonous teaching methods, insufficient depth of home–kindergarten collaboration, and the need for improvement in teachers’ professional competence. In response, this study proposes the following strategies: using regional and kindergarten-based teaching research to guide the development of kindergarten-based curricula; expanding the objectives, content, and teaching methods of life education practices within planting activities; establishing closer home–kindergarten collaboration mechanisms; and constructing a scientific system of curriculum evaluation and feedback. These measures aim to provide further reference for the optimization of life education curricula in kindergartens.
