The study aims to examine the perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding the use of English AIDT. A questionnaire consisting of ten open-ended questions was used with ten elementary school teachers who had experience using English AIDT in classes or through teacher training programs. The results showed that most participants expressed positive views on the change in legal status of AIDT from textbooks to educational materials. It was also found that as positive aspects of using English AIDT, participants mentioned the customized learning tailored to students' levels and the individual feedback function, and as negative aspects, they pointed out the increased burden on teachers and the reduced opportunities of interactions with teachers and peers. Lastly, participants proposed teacher training programs on the use of AIDT and digital literacy education for students for the efficient use of English AIDT.
