방사선사 현장실습 표준화를 위한 대학별 운영 현황 분석:2025학년도 기준

Status of Clinical Practicum Management for Radiologic Technologists and Recommendations for Standardization:Based on the 2025 Academic Year

2025학년도 기준 전국의 42개 대학을 대상으로 현장실습에 대한 설문 조사 결과를 전반적으로 요약해 보자면, 대한민국 방사선학과 교수들은 방사선사 현장실습 교육의 표준화 필요성에 대해 압도적인 공감대를 형성하고 있음이 명확히 확인되었다. 현재 현장실습 교과 운영에서 학점 배정(2~14학점), 대상 학년, 운영 시기, 평가방식 및 비율 등에서 상당한 편차를 보이고 있다. 이러한 편차를 줄여내고 교육과정 표준화를 달성하기 위해서는 방사선학 전공 교육에 대한 학제 일원화가 시급한 과제임을 알 수 있다. 사전교육 시행 및 실습 지침서 사용은 보편적 수준이었으나, 그 교육내용 및 지침서의 제작 주체가 다양하여 표준화의 필요성과 효과가 크다고 판단된다. 현장실습 담당 교수에 대한 시수 불인정은 교수의 업무 부담을 가중시키고, 이는 현장실습의 질 관리에도 부정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있어 제도적 표준화의 주된 요소로 파악되었다. 현장실습의 가장 큰 애로사항은 ‘실습 교육 효과의 기관별 편차’, ‘현장실습 사전 준비’, ‘충분한 실습기관 확보’ 등으로 나타났으며, 이는 '실습기관 인프라 및 교육내용', ‘현장실습 지침서’, ‘실습기관의 적극적 참여 유도'와 같은 표준화를 위한 우선 수행과제와 직접적으로 연결되고 있다. 국가고시 응시 자격 인정을 위한 의견 분석은 현장실습 인증의 신뢰성과 절차에 대한 통일된 기준 마련의 필요성을 담고 있다. 본 설문 조사 결과는 ‘방사선사 현장실습’ 교육의 현재와 미래를 위한 중요한 시사점을 보여주고 있다. 표준화를 통한 현장실습의 질적 향상은 곧 국민 보건 향상에 직결될 것이다. 이제 대학과 임상 현장, 협회와 정부가 모두 함께 지혜를 모아 실질적인 표준화 방안을 마련하고 실행함으로써 미래 방사선사의 역량을 강화하고 국민 건강 증진에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

This study summarizes the survey results on the clinical practicum conducted among 42 universities with Radiologic Sciences Departments nationwide, based on the 2025 academic year. The findings clearly established an overwhelming con-sensus among faculty members regarding the imperative need for standardizing clinical practicum education for radiologic technologists. Significant heterogeneity was observed in key operational factors, including credit hour assignment (2∼14 credits), target student cohorts, timing, and evaluation methods. To mitigate these disparities and achieve standardization, the uni-fication of the academic system for professional radiologic sciences education is identified as an urgent priority. The non-rec-ognition of assigned teaching load for supervising faculty was also recognized as a critical barrier to institutional standardization. The greatest challenges reported included ‘inconsistencies in educational outcomes across clinical affiliates’, ‘inadequate pre-practicum preparation’ and ‘difficulty securing sufficient qualified training facilities’. Analysis regarding certification for the national licensure examination eligibility also highlighted the necessity of establishing unified criteria for procedural reliability. The survey results offer critical implications for the future of practicum education. Quality enhancement through stand-ardization is directly linked to improved public health outcomes. Therefore, collective collaboration among universities, clinical affiliates, professional associations, and the government is anticipated to develop and implement practical standardization measures, thereby strengthening the competencies of future radiologic technologists and contributing to national health promotion.
